March 2002 Completed the Shin Buddhism Master's Program at Ryukoku University
March 2005 Fulfilled credit requirements for the Shin Buddhism Doctoral Program at Ryukoku University

During his tenure as Vice Resident Priest of Tsukiji Hongwanji, he actively engaged in propagation in the Tokyo metropolitan area while officiating a number of Buddhist services at the temple. He also served as lecturer at the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha Buddhist seminaries, namely, Chuo Bukkyo Gakuin (Central Buddhist Seminary) and Tokyo Bukkyo Gakuin (Tokyo Buddhist Seminary), as well as Ryukoku University's Graduate School of Practical Shin Buddhist Studies, and REC (Ryukoku Extension Center) Community College.

*The 750th Memorial was conducted throughout most of 2011 ahead of the actual anniversary of Shinran Shonin's passing on January 16. The final session of memorial services is called Goshoto 御正当 (lit., "actual") and concluded on January 16, 2012.
