14.菊之間(Chamber of Chysanthemums)

この部屋は、垣根ごしに菊を中心とする秋草を配しているところから、「菊之間」と呼ばれております。また、格子型（こうしがた）の天井には、金地（きんじ）に扇が241種類描かれています。同じ絵柄は1枚もなく、絵師の工夫と緻密な技量がうかがえます。この部屋は客人の着替えの間として使用されていたため、着替えの後、対面まで時間があるときにも飽きずに眺めて楽しむことができたと思われます。 狩野派の絵師・渡辺了慶の筆によると伝えられています。

14 菊之間 這個房間的繪畫作品以描繪從柵欄中探出的菊花為主，並配有各種秋季的花草，因此被稱為"菊之間"。在覆有金箔紙的天花板方格里畫有241種不同樣式的扇子，而每把扇子的圖案又有所不同，由此可見畫家的精雕細刻之功。 "菊之間"是用於來賓更衣的房間。為了讓來賓在等候時也不會感到無聊，畫家也可謂是煞費苦心啊！ 這些作品也是出自狩野派畫家渡邊了慶之手。

14 Chamber of Chrysanthemums Surrounded by fall foliage, with the chrysanthemum as the center of attraction, this chamber is known as the Chamber of Chrysanthemums. On the latticed ceiling are paintings of 241 ceremonial folding fans on gold-leafed paper, with each being one-of-a-kind, and showing the artist's intricacy. This room is said to have been used as a changing room for guests before entering the Main Audience Hall. As guests would wait in the chamber, they would be able to gaze at the magnificent artwork. The chamber is said to be the artwork of KANO Ryokei of the Kano School of art.

14 Kiku-no-Ma (Sala dos Crisântemos) Nas portas corrediças estão as pinturas de vários tipos de cercas naturais , crisântemos e ervas outonais, como o trevo da mata, a flor de trepadeira da China e as glórias matinais.
